FAQs

How many people can you accommodate on my wedding day?

Depending on start time and what time you need to be ready, I can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, including the bride. This also depends on what type of look you and your bridesmaids are looking for as well. I can accommodate a bridal party of up to 10 people with the use of an additional makeup artist, if needed.

Where are you based?

I am based in Shrewsbury, but have access to a second location in Solihull. Your bridal trial will always take place at my home studio in Shrewsbury or Solihull. On the day of your wedding, travel is calculated based on the closest distance to your venue from either Shrewsbury or Solihull (whichever is lower cost to you).

How early do you need to start?

Again, this depends entirely on the size of your bridal party and what you are having done (soft glam/ full glam etc.). Ideally I would like to spend 60 minutes on the bridal party and give the bride 90-120 minutes.

What if my venue doesn’t allow access until a certain time?

We can always start makeup at a first location before moving to your venue to finish getting ready. If you are not sure of your venue’s access time, I would find out ASAP so that there is adequate time to prepare accordingly.

Where do you travel for weddings?

I travel all over the UK for weddings at the moment and can and will travel internationally, if needed. Please bare in mind that clients are liable for all travel and overnight accommodation costs.

Why do I need to pay a deposit to secure my booking?

Due to high demand, I require a non-refundable deposit to secure and confirm your booking. All deposits are non-refundable and non transferable.

What makeup brands do you use?

I use a variety of high-end, high performing makeup brands and products that will ensure you look your best on your big day. Examples include, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Hourglass, Makeup by Mario, Patrick Ta, etc.

How far in advance do I need to book?

My books are open up to 3 years in advance and with me getting multiple enquiries a day, I advise you to get in touch to book your date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I will be there to do everyone’s makeup and then stay for touch-ups until you are ready to get married!

Do I have to pay my balance before the appointment?

The final balance from your booking is due 7 business days prior to your event date. Failure to provide payment in full by this date, will result in booking cancellation.
